No lights on hub

Hi my hub 3 has been showing yellow as the power light on and off for a while now, and today there are no lights on it.  I have no internet and need it for working from home for NHS.  It says I need an engineer so I have one booked on Monday, but if it is the hub that's broken can they just leave me a new one, or send one for delivery for Monday?  

Shod I turn the hub off in the meantime?

Seems that hubs aren't being sent out at the moment and require that engineer visit to do a replacement.. probably because stock is so tight they want to verify that there is actually a problem with the device that needs swapping out..

New hub installed, connectivity restored 🎉🎉 really helpful engineer - back to work now!!
