I'm posting this on behalf of my son as he has no internet so not able to post himself.
He works from home and relies on having his internet for that but on Friday it suddenly went down. I have spoken to a few other people that live in his area and they haven't got any issues. My son has phoned to try to sort the problem out and is getting a recorded message saying there is an 'intermittent fault' in the area and it would be fixed by 4pm today, I know it's only just gone 4pm, but when you are using the internet for working, to have no access going into day 4 is really not good.
Would really appreciate any advice anyone can give.
I'm pretty sure he has done that and it's showing an intermittent fault, I did just message one of his neighbours on the off chance they might be with VM, which they are, they had a fault on Friday which was fixed. Makes you wonder if someone fixed that fault and created another!
Well I got that wrong, he did check the Service Status and it said there was no fault. He has now phoned VM who are still adamant that the intermittent fault has been fixed, despite him having no internet. Really not good when 2 people are working full time from home and rely on the internet working, I know there are times problems happen but they can't get an engineer out till Thursday evening, by which time it will have been nearly a week!
Sorry to see that your son has had an issue with our services recently. Has this now been repaired for him?
