Hello,On Friday we had an engineer come who replaced our broken modem/router with a Super Hub 3.
Wifi works fine but ethernet doesn't. I've tested it with 5 different ethernet cables and 3 different devices. Nothing.
I've also turned it off (waiting 10 seconds) and on again several times.
I've also reset it several times.
The call centres are closed, and our particular fault is not catered for by eitherhttps://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadbandorhttps://virginmedia.com/faultsWhen the engineer came and installed, LAN worked fine for an hour or so.Also, the engineer said that with our package (£49/month) we should also be entitled to a free booster. I need this for my work if the LAN isn't working as Wifi doesn't reach my room.Please help.Thanks.
Not that it matters, but most of what follows is true.
For range use 2.4GHz for Speed try 5.0 GHz. The Network Diagnostic tool may actually be of benefit.
If in doubt please ask.
According to your diagram the router is broken.
