No broadband for over 3 weeks..

Phoned up with an issue around 5th of February as broadband and all other services died, had an engineer visit around a week later to tell us it was a problem with the fibre he couldn't fix & scheduled a date for engineers to come on the 22nd Feb (Today of making this post) low and behold no one has came. I contacted virgin in the morning and spoke to a UK rep who confirmed I should get a visit today, phoned again in the evening and was told by a non UK employee it was cancelled due to an area fault that will be looked at on the 26th and they can't make an appointment as it will be cancelled whilst an area fault is in place??

Complete joke to of waited for so long to be let down once again by virgin on the date they state it will be fixed l.

Re: No broadband for over 3 weeks..

Hi Catherden,

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear you've been having broadband issues. The engineer is right, any booked appointments would automatically cancel if an area fault is detected.

This is because we'd need to clear an area fault before being able to work on any issues inside a property.

The team will be working hard to ensure this fixed as soon as possible.
