New V6 Box

On our wavelength

I have just installed my new V6 Box, and the TV is fine. Also, my hard-wired internet is OK, but my WiFi is not working. Any Suggestions please?

Hi again @Gunfighter

This seems rather odd  following the mess with the delivery of your new V6 box, wherby Yodel delivered a hub 5  to you in error as they had the address mixed up.

I can't see the internet being affected unless you installed the hub 5 before giving it bck to Yodel as  that would have changed the SSID (your WiFi Network Name) on your hub.

Also I wouldn't expect the hard wired connection to still be working.

Which hub do you have, and what colour are the lights on the hub, and what are they doing?

You can follow some basic trouble shooting depending on the lights by going to << this page >>  and clicking on the section titled, ' Understand what the lights mean on the WiFi Hub'

Have you tried rebooting the hub?

Post moved from the TV section to the WiFi forum, where those more familiar with wireless issues are likely to see it.

I'll ask the obvious - you refer to WiFi not working, but do you mean this or is it your broadband as a whole not working? In other words, are Ethernet cabled connections from your router, OK?

The cause of a WiFi issue is different to a broadband one, and so is the resultant fix/advice.

Thanks for all the replies folks. I don't know what I did, but my Wi-fi has started up again now, so all seems to be well.
