New Router

Yesterday I called Virgin to renegotiate my contract because I refused to pay more money due to the poor quality download speeds. They told me they will send me a new router, plus a couple of Boosters. I have received an email since telling me when I will receive the Boosters, but nothing about the new Router. How can I get it confirmed that a new Router is actually on order without having to sit on the phone for another half hour?

Re: New Router

Under 'My Orders', all it says is:

Your self-install pack is scheduled to be delivered on: Oct 30th

Re: New Router

This is what the email says, nothing about a Router:

Your new package now includes:

Broadband: Discount - WiFi Booster Credit - WiFi booster starter kit

Re: New Router

A self-install kit usually refers to a tv box or router etc.

Re: New Router

Hi RIggsy68, thanks for the message and sorry for the delay in responding back to you. Can you confirm if the boosters have not arrived and been set up? We would only usually be able to do one order at a time, can you confirm if the router has arrived? We look forward to hearing from you. Chris.

Re: New Router

Everything arrived and was set up last Friday. I am still not getting speeds anywhere near 220mbps, on Wired or Wireless Computer or mobile phone. Cannot play 4k vids on Youtube properly.

Re: New Router

Hi RIggsy68, has anything improved since your post? How is the service at the moment? Are you able to do a broadband quality monitor and send us the graph? Chris
