New hub arrived today which replaced the hub a previous tenant was using however the hub is going red and dropping out. The red light is also constantly on. I’ve tried to do a factory reset but it’s made no difference. It also feels extremely hot to the touch which surely isn’t normal?
Please can you help? — assuming there is something wrong with this box?

If you have done a pinhole reset, and it's a Hub 3, then it will need swapped out. The red LED is an overheat warning and should be working, otherwise it is a potential risk. If you wait here a day or two a VM Mod will pick this up and discuss with your directly.

Hi @Danielle4 👋 Thank you for your post and welcome to the Virgin Media Community 😀
We're sorry to hear about the problem you're experiencing 😔
In the first instance, please follow the below steps in the following order:
• Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub
• Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location, and, if at all possible, out of direct sunlight
• Use the power switch to turn the unit back on
If after following the steps the router doesn't boot back up after a few minutes, or the red light returns when it does, it'll need replacing.
Please pop back to us at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your support @Adduxi 👍
