ah ok - apologies - i missed that it was the nest mesh system that you were having issues with rather than one of the nest products, like cameras/thermostat etc..
you can't split the bands on nest wifi, it doesn't support it.
are your wifi clients being disconnected from the nest wifi network, or is the nest wifi system losing its internet connection?
