Need a replacement router

Hi,

 

the ethernet side of my router is no longer working.

Modem/router has been restarted several times.

All ports have been tested with known to be working devices.

Ethernet connections work for a couple of minutes then fail.

How do I get a replacement router?

Call it in on 150 (VM Phone) or 0345 454 1111 or (any other phone) Calling at 08.00 midweek -- is the best time - although people are still reporting getting through fine at other times with no long waits. Took just 20’ for me one afternoon recently.

You can also text them on 07533 051809 include account name/number and what the issue is – replies may take longer

A VM person should pick this up here and respond, but it can take several days for them to get here.

I have tried 150 and it is an automated service which switches the device off and back on as a test!

They sent me a text message with a support link which does not do anything but open the default support page.

Where is the support team gone?

They were there for me on a Wednesday afternoon at 1pm a week or two ago. Call at 08.00 for quicker pick up times.

Anecdotal evidence on here is that once you go through the automated sequence and disconnect from the call - if you call again soon after then the system knows you have tried that and it hasn't worked and puts the call through to CS. Worth a try. Or try options 1,1,4,4 "thinking of leaving"
