My wifi hub is intermitting all morning

My wifi hub has been intermitting on and off for the last few days. I can go hours with internet then i go hours without. But when i got up this morning it wasnt on and still dont have any internet. I have restarted the hub multiple times and made sure all the connections are ok. I have booked an engineer but the earliset they can come is Thursday but when i stream all my tv this is way to long.

Any other ideas as to why this is happenning?

Is there a known fault ? 

Look in 2 places

1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage (https://www.virginmedia.com/help/service-status)

2) Then also Try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Yes, i have checked and it says there is no faults in the area but my broadband has been on and off for the last 3 days and i tried to book a engingeer but earliest i could get was Wednesday evening which is no good to me as i watch all of my shows/films through streaming services
