I'm sitting on top of my router and unable to connect to it. My WiFi strength says excellent but it's unable to connect.

On the odd chance I connect it lasts for merr seconds.

I have turned it off and on, reset it and what not.

I'm assuming your trying to connect to the Hub via WiFi.

Which Hub ( 3/4/5) has been supplied
and what is the device / laptop etc that is not connecting ?

Hi Dibbert,

Welcome to the Community Forums! Thank you for posting.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble connecting at the moment. Do you have any devices you can connect to your hub via ethernet cable to see if you can receive a connection that way?

We've been unable to find the backend of your services from here, so we can't check the status of your service at the moment. I've popped you over a private message so I can take some details and look into this for you.

Hi Dibbert,

Thanks for getting back to me with your details.

After having a look from this end, we can see that your power levels are out of spec which will be causing the issues you've been having.

I've gone ahead and booked an engineer visit for you, to view or change the appointment time, you can manage your booking here.

I also just need to make you aware, that there may be a £25 charge for the appointment if:

  •  The customer is not present for the technician visit (aka a missed appointment).
  •     The fault is due to customer's own equipment.
  •    The fault is due to damage caused by someone at the customer's premises which we were not aware of.
  •    The fault is due to theft, loss, or removal of equipment.

Let us know if you need anything else and how the visit goes.

Thanks!

Beth
