My Amazon EERO doesn't connect to internet

Hi,

I have tried to get my EERO WiFi gateway to work with my Virgin Media hub 3.0. What I have done so far:

1. tried to get things going in the router mode - no luck

2. changed to the modem mode - no luck

2.1 tried with all 4 thernet ports - no luc

3. tried with my laptop connected to the ethernet ports - no internet connection for my laptop either

In modem mode only the eero can be connected to the hub as only one Ethernet port works

Yes. when I was trying with my laptop I only had my laptop connected. Also I did go through all 4 ethernet ports individually and rebooted the hub between trying the different ports.

You need to power off the hub.
Then power on the hub and allow it to initiate.
Then connect the one device to the bottom lan port of the hub.

I have tried now with laptop and even with that connection to internet fails.

Seems there is an issue with my hub.

What exact steps did you take?

Resolved!

1. Hub 3.0 needed a reboot and update from Virgin to get the Modem mode DHCP to work correctly

2. Needed to use EERO iOS app instead of Android app as the Bluetooth connection faulted on the Android app.
