Moving router upstairs?

Hello I currently have my main TV and Internet connection down stairs however I pay for the additional TV box upstairs. Could I move the splitter from downstairs and move it upstairs so the router can be moved into my bedroom?

Re: Moving router upstairs?

Should not be a problem. If you do get problems you can always move it back.

Re: Moving router upstairs?

Yes you can move them. The issue for some people is that WiFi will be weaker downstairs.
