Moving a socket

wondering if anyone can help. Got a technician booked for next week to move a socket from one side of the room to the other. My question is, will the old socket still be live? Or will it just be re-moved to the new place? Id like to have 2 sockets live in the room if possible incase I want to move the TV again. Also, will they be able to connect a socket on a wall that's connected to nextdoor? Thanks

Talk to the Tech.  Having two live sockets is certainly possible and doable.
