Hi all.
I have moved my tv to a part of the room that hasn’t got a virgin access point (virgin won’t come for 99 engineer). It’s not far from my current virgin point so used an coaxial cable to move it through some trunking, it all works fine. Now I’ve moved everything to end of the property, as expected I’m struggling with WiFi signal at the other end of house.
The plan was to run Ethernet cable back through the trunking and have an WiFi access point (at the same point) or use a power line which does work. Are these my best options? If so any recommendations on what to buy for an semi non tech person?
It does seem crazy to be moving hub 3 from centre of the house and then wiring back to same location. Can anyone think better way of doing this? I.e can you keep the hub at same location and just move the V6 by having an extender for broadband only part from hub?
