Moved address no response from Virgin

Moved home 8 days ago, switched my account online to new address and still no response from Virgin. I work from home and need broadband so needed to pay BT £40 for one month broadband.

The only thing I can do do is close the account and go with Sky.

 

Any ideas?

Changing your billing address doesn't move your broadband, you need to phone up and tell them you've moved and they will send you new equipment (because in most cases it cannt be transfered)

You can contact VM to report the problem using ...

0345 454 1111 from any other UK  phone.

The best time to call is weekdays 08:00 to get a UK agent, anything after 10:00 you must realise that you are quite likely to get through to an offshore agent that doesn't speak English as a first language.

Or you can wait on here for one of the VM Staff to pick up the thread but this may take a few days.

Please accept my apologies for the issue you are having trying to move home

As much as we  love to help out on here 

Moves and Transfers to new a property is something that we are not able to process 

The advice you have been given prior to this is the best way to get things resolved
