Low speeds and unstable connection

I had the 100mbs speed which was ok, but as myself and my husband are both working from home, and taking video calls throughout the day I thought it best to upgrade my speed to 350mbs.

Since doing this, my video calls are always dropping, I now have to tether to my mobile phone to get a decent connection. I am paying more money for rubbish. I am also getting speeds of 150mbps. 

I have tried the connection app and restarted the hub, it's made no difference and everything says all fine. I am so unhappy with everything and don't want to keep calling virgin but I am so unhappy and it's affecting my work daily.

to give you an update, I have restarted to factory settings over an hour ago, and I have an orange power light, and a green wifi symbol and green arrows symbol for lat 30 mins? This does not seem right. And now we have lost all wifi.
