Loss of 5G

I've recently loss 5G off my hub i can only connect to the normal WiFi.The current speed is less than 100 I recently signed up for the 500 speed ,can anyone help my daughters home from uni and trying to do her course online is becoming a farce .

Access your HUB on http://192.168.0.1 , enter the details on the base of the HUB (NOT the WiFi password!) and access 'Advanced Settings\Security'. Check that the 5Ghz SSID isn't set to '1', rather than 'VMXXXXXX':

Log into the hub and see if the 5GHz signal is still enabled and if the SSID (network name) has been changed.

Set the network names for 2.4 and 5GHz to what you want - with, say, a 2 and a 5 on the end....

Access your HUB on http://192.168.1.1


That IP address is likely wrong for your hub - the default for VM hubs is http://192.168.0.1
