Losing 2.4ghz

My superhub 3 is playing up...again...had issues with it losing connection slow speeds and  disconnecting the 2.4 band etc   took advice and done a factory reset which appeared to cure the problems..now a month later it has started again, the 2.4 side drops out and the range has suddenly dropped ..this band controls the house smart devises including heating Alexa and smart plugs. I don't want to keep rebooting the router especially in the middle off the night to controllivht or heating    ..is it time for a new router?? PS I have no probs with the 5 ghz band and the speeds are fine

Re: Losing 2.4ghz

You can try and ask for a new hub but VM know the hubs wifi fails but Ethernet ports are fine so be faster to get your own wireless router with 1Gb ports and put the hub in modem mode.
