My new Hub 3 is working perfectly at the moment; just wanted to comment on the front panel lights. According to the instructions, the bottom light should go steady and there should be no other lights visible when working correctly. I’m no design expert, but I don’t think LACK of a signal is the best way to show “everything ok”!
I liked on the 2ac how you could see the individual lights flashing when there was network activity on each of the wifi bands and the Internet connection. It let me see at a glance if my devices were connecting, and I could often tell if the box was about to reboot itself because all the lights went static.
Obviously if the bottom light goes red or starts flashing I know there’s a problem, but maybe it would be better to show the green lights constantly when everything is ok (perhaps flashing when there is activity, like on earlier Hubs)
