Latency Spikes every few seconds

Problem persisting over the last month.
Connection keeps lagging out/very briefly disconnecting.
Ping spikes every few seconds up to 1000 ping.

Same with wired connection as well as wifi.
Have turned off and on again. have factory reset.
I also put in a netgear router and switched the hub 3 to modem mode (which it remains)
No fix

no reported problems in my post code

Gave up on hold to virgin

Any help? Thanks

Re: Latency Spikes every few seconds

Let's see what we're dealing with.  Set up a BQM, let it run for 24 hours and then post a link to a shared graph.

Yes, they do. It takes about 7 days since your last post for your thread to get to the top of their 'to do list'.

Re: Latency Spikes every few seconds

Been a week, no reply.
Gave up trying to call, no answer after an  hour on hold
emailed 4 days ago, no reply.

is there anything more futile in life right now than trying to get hold of any virgin media support?

There is no support email - which is likely why you’ve had no response.

The week response time is an estimate - it depends how busy the forum team are.
