Large downloads killing wifi

Wifi in the house is fine until I start doing any large downloads (Windows updates/downloading games on Steam)

It's fine for a few minutes then BOOM, all devices have no internet (wifi).

Not sure if it's some sort of throttling that the hub just cuts out or a faulty hub (I have a Hub 3.0) - Have to then restart the Hub to restore.

Anyone else had this or any ideas or how to fix this?

Re: Large downloads killing wifi

Use an Ethernet cable. The Hub sounds like it is being overloaded.

Re: Large downloads killing wifi

Our Hub 3 has reliable WiFi

We have Disabled Channel Optimisation and selected Manual Channels on both bands.

Re: Large downloads killing wifi

If it help below is how we have our Hub 3 WiFi ... image may take time to show ...

Also on the Security page we have Security set to WPA2-PSK  ( with the older WPA-PSK mode disabled to stop iPhone weak security grumbles )
