Keep phoning virgin and after 40 minutes they answer and it cuts off

Hi my Internet is down my fault keeps saying WiFi doesn't have a valid ip configuration so unable to do any work,, I've tried ringing virgin I'm on hold for 45 minutes each time which I've tried ringing them 5 time which is waiting over 3 hours to talk to someone, and I am getting cut off every time can someone help me out with this

There is a fault with the lines currently.

 

Try texting the VM customer text service on 07533051809

Yes I've turned all the router off etc re booted my computer about 20 times now and the light show normal on the router also my wife's computer works but her computer uses a work ip address

Perform a factory reset of the hub by pushing the reset pinhole in for 60 seconds minumum

Tried online chat and texting the number you gave. I just keep getting sent round in circles and passed to different departments.

I now have an engineer appointment that I don't need, as Internet has been restored, but can't cancel as it is not showing on app. Nobody on chat seems to understand that I just want to cancel an appointment.

Someone else has written on my post I have still got problems with my Internet and WiFi as I cannot get a valid ip configuration

Have you factory reset the hub as advised?
