I have super hub 3 in modem mode with asus rt-n66u router it has been working fine for years but over the last few weeks it keeps on dropping connection between 5/10 times a day after a few minutes it reconnects this is getting so frustrating.I have done the factory reset on both hub 3 and asus router but keeps on dropping all the time ,Was wondering if my hub 3 needs replacing ?Any help would be great as its driving me mad !!! Thank you
Have you noticed any other connection issues besides the connection dropping? Have you been able to try the hub in router mode to see if the connection also drops during that time?
Would you also be able to post your Network Status results from your hub settings so we can check the readings? I'd especially love to see the Network Log as this will show if your hub is picking up any errors.
If you're able to do so make sure any personal details such as MAC addresses are obscured.
HI I had an virgin engineer come to fix my problem he changed an old splitter and put a 3db connector into back of hub 3 ,worked fine for about an hour then dropped again.Also my download speed has dropped i was getting over the 350 mbps but now only around 230 mbps ,never had any issues regarding dropp outs or speed this has only been over the last month or so .Not sure what to do next ?So annoying when it drops !!
Hi problemchild 197 I thought ill let you know i solved my problem ,I put hub 3 back into wireless mode and got rid of my asus router .Now my speeds are way over 350mbps so im very happy ,hope you get your problem sorted soon .I will let you know if it does drop connection again but its been fine all day not dropped once .
