Issues with Superhub 3.0

Hi there

I've recently been having issues with my superhub, the two main ones have been the connection seemingly constantly varying in speed, often with it dropping out for a couple of seconds before seemingly working again.

It's also been a fair bit hotter than usual, It's not something I usually notice with it but it is something I've picked up on.

From what I've seen posting downstream/upstream seems to be the best way to figure out what the issues are with it (I've no idea but I hope someone on here does!), so I'll post them below...

Re: Issues with Superhub 3.0

Hello

Thank for joining in on the forum, we will try the best to get your issue resolved.

Hub 3.0 as they are will tell you if it is hot, i.e. the Base Light will turn red.

Looking at your stats they are all within specs, but you seem to having lots of post RS Errors, when was the hub last turned off.

Can you please go around and check that all connectors to VM equipment are hand tight. Also while doing this please check for any damage to cable, or UN-terminated connection without either coax or a terminator.
Also please run "Check service status" at the top right of this forum and call 0800 561 0061 to check for local issues.
Also one think you can do is too signup at https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality and setup a broadband quality monitor which will keep an eye on you connection by sending a small amount of data to the hub asking if it still on.

Re: Issues with Superhub 3.0

I've had a look at the connections and they all look ok to me, so I'll try out the broadband monitor and see if I can figure out what's going from that.

Thanks
