Issues in my area are too often!

Hi,

Is anyone else suffering this problem? Literally I have internet cuts every second day, sometimes even for few hours. That's really annoying. I understand virgin might have some problems from time to time, but it happens too often. Is their engineer not able to fix it properly? I feel like I am getting pushed to change the provider. My wife is working from home, so she really needs to have a stable internet and I don't really think that this is actually the best possible service and for sure I don't gonna pay for it in the future. My postcode is WF1 (Wakefield).

I decided to start making a screenshots from the "service check" site:

Thanks.

Re: Issues in my area are too often!

Outages happen with all providers.

If the service status page shows a known issue then wait for it to be resolved.

Re: Issues in my area are too often!

How would you feel if you would have to use internet from your phone all the time, just because virgin got issues every second day? It didn't happen 1-2 times, it happens definitely too often. Before I decided to chose VM they were promising that this is a best internet in UK, with stable connection and no internet drop downs, because it's a fibre and what happens?

Re: Issues in my area are too often!

Well I have unlimited mobile data and a backup line from a different ISP, so for me personally it’s no issue.

What is the service status page currently showing?

Re: Issues in my area are too often!

Well, what's the point of paying for the internet provider if it's okay for you to use your unlimited data from mobile phone?

Connecting between router and mobile phone also takes some time and it also causes some problems in the company system that my wife is using (different ips etc).

Well you can see the estimate fix time and date on the service status page now. So you just need to wait for it to be resolved.

For the same reason that people have a spare key for the front door in case they lose one..

For the same reason that people have a tumble dryer for when it is raining.

For the same reason that people have a spare wheel in the car in case they have a puncture.

Re: Issues in my area are too often!

That's the worst service I have ever experienced... paying for something what I cannot use properly.

Feeling scammed! Will never recommend VM to anyone!
