Hi all,
I'm new to Virgin Media. Is it legal to download torrent in Virgin network without a VPN ? Torrents would be mostly movies and pc games.
Additionally, which VPN do you guys use ?
TIA

It is illegal to download copyrighted content via torrent whatever broadband provider you are with in the United Kingdom. It doesnt matter if it is Virgin, Sky, BT or any other ISP. Using a VPN does not make it any less illegal.

VM Websafe may block P2P file sharing and illegal downloads. See https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/web-safe for details.

While I could not possibly allude to such activities , the use of a proven VPN , such as NordVPN ( others are available ) provides a high degree of protection against detection , and whether you are in a coastal inlet full of Pirates , or some other vantage point with good vuze of the surrounding landscape , it tends to work and is useful for catching up with TV shows released in other parts of the world , or , indeed , Strange New Worlds ...
