any help would be great, the house is a rented HMO. but running our own networking equipment so virgin media equipment is in modem mode. let me know if any specifics are needed for the network to work out what is happening

You have a lot of Post RS errors and a lot of errors in your network log, your power levels on the upstream are sitting a bit high also. Have you checked for any faults in your area?

Have you tried a factory reset? Hold in the pinhole at the rear of the router for at least 50 seconds and then release (the lights will flash while holding in the pinhole reset button after about 15 seconds) then allow 5 minutes for the router to reboot and re-sync the connection.

Also can you please setup a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com. Just click on Create a new monitor.

Post a 'Live Link' to your BQM on here asap.

Under your graph you just created Click (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box and paste it on here

fixed, didnt have respond to ping on, an engineer came out and terminated some cables for us
