Internet issues

Over the past few days we have been having intermittent internet signal & when it’s on its very slow and can’t even load images on social media etc. I have done everything that has been suggested via the website like check status, reset internet box etc but nothing works. 

i need to arrange an engineer to come out to check but I am hitting a dead end as I can’t seem to get to speak to anyone in person and just get directed to the website ‘fixing a broadband issue’ which is going through the same steps every time which is a achieving nothing!

 

Anyone have a number whereby I can actually arrange an engineer to come out and sort the connection out for me?

there only is 1 number to call
0345 454 1111 (or 150 if you have a virgin landline)

i assume you checked to make sure the issue happens when connected via ethernet and not just when on wifi?

We only use iPads/phones & MacBook Pro so no Ethernet sockets. Only use WiFi.

ok but the issue might be just the WIFI network and not the actual virgin connection.
so you need to confirm what the connection is like via an ethernet connection first before proceeding.
