Internet issues in N3, or is it just me?

I'm hoping that someone can help on here, to save waiting for an engineer callout in no less than five days 😞

Some info:

  • It is a hub 2.0.
  • Online area service checker says there arent any issues in the area.
  • Automated phone line confirms that there are no issues.
  • Online status checker tool confirms I actually know how to plug my modem/router in correctly then advises me to book an engineer appointment in a few days time (not ideal as we all know).
  • I don't think we have any sort of attenuator, nor have we had this issue before.
  • I've already tried turning it off then on again, rebooting via both the VM website and the router IP pages, factory reset, and hard reset using the pinhole reset button press for a minute.

I really hope someone can wade in and say "oh just tick this button" and all will be well, but I'm willing to try anything at this point.

Not sure why N3 is but virgin broadband just went down in Weling(South east London- Da16)!

Wish I'd seen this before I posted. Honestly believe it's gone down all across London, as my family are encountering the same issues in N21.

Status update checker has updated to say that there is an issue in the area and an engineer's should fix it soon...
