Have you looked at Check service status at the top of the page? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there.
If nothing is showing you could also try the Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.
The wifi won't affect your live TV connection as it's completely separate to your internet connection.
The wifi would only be used to update the EPG, and to connect to On Demand and streaming services.
Hub and TV firmware updates are performed overnight and shouldn't affect your normal internet connection.
How is the 360 connected to your hub? Wired or wireless? Wired is best if possible.
If it's a wifi connection then how far away is it from your hub 4? My 360 seems to work better if I connect it to the 2.4 GHz band.
Although the 2.4 GHz band is slower than the 5GHz it actually has a better, stronger range. You don't need 5GHz for the On Demand and streaming services.
