Hello,

The virgin internet cables that go from my house run directly into the pavement from the front garden wall. The virgin outside brown box was already there when we moved in 18 months ago and I got Virgin installed when I moved in, so unsure when the cables were laid. The cables run from the brown box, through the built up flower bed box soil then directly into the pavement.
Recently a neighbour commented on it being a trip hazard which brought it to my attention and I agree with.

Please can anyone help / give advice on how to get this sorted? The cables shouldn’t be like this.

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Thanks Tudor. I just tried calling that number but didn’t get anywhere with the options, and it hung up on me. So will have to wait until staff respond.

If that is a public footpath, get the Council involved if you can’t get a speedy resolution from VM. Usually this does the trick.
