@David_Bn   So if all the up channel power levels are way out of range is that ok ?

Re: Intermittent signal dropout

Hi @MarkyMark71, I'd be happy to have an engineer booked in for you to take a closer look into this for you.

Check out the purple envelope in the top right hand corner for a private message from me.

Kindest regards,

Re: Intermittent signal dropout

Just an update....

2nd engineer visit - ran some checks, made a few changes and said he'd lowered downstream power levels and increased upstream to 36. After he left it DC again and I checked upstream levels and all at 31 or 32.

3rd engineer visit - replaced ONU and intinuator and again tweaked power levels.

However, signal is still disconnecting even though upstream are all 41 or 42

There seems to be a mountain of similar posts on here all with one thing in common - Hub 3

I am not relishing the prospect of phoning VM, its like Groundhog Day

Re: Intermittent signal dropout

Hi MarkyMark71,

Thanks for coming back to us with an update on this one.

Taking a look at the hub stats from this end, all is looking fine. The levels are within optimal range and there is nothing out of spec with your hub or area.

How are things looking since you last posted?

Pop back and let us know.

Thanks,

Kath_F

Re: Intermittent signal dropout

Still the same, constantly disconnecting last night for over an hour and had dropouts today.

This clearly isn't just going to remedy itself and as pretty much everything has been replaced it has to be a network issue doesn't it?

What are VM doing to resolve this?

Re: Intermittent signal dropout

Hi MarkyMArk71,

Thank you for getting back to us and letting us know the problems are still happening.

Everything is still running within specification from our side but I see that was the case when your Hub stats were showing very high levels for upstream

With that being the case, are you able to access your Hub and post some up to date stats for us to review?

Thanks,

Nat
