Intermittent internet and frequent disconnects

Rossmor48
On our wavelength

I have getting very intermittent internet since Tuesday with a lot of disconnects, loss of synch. It seems to be one of the SNR problems which feature a lot on these forums but according to the service status checker there are no issues in my area.

can anyone tell what the messages from the Hub 5 mean

Hi @Rossmor48

You also need to post the top section from the Downstream page showing the power levels etc

Plus you need to post the information from the Upstream tab (power levels and time outs)

Also go to /thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality  and set up a BQM (broadband quality monitor)

On Think Broadband go to your  BQM and under the options you will see

Click on the Share option and on the screen that opens click on Share

On the next screen click on Share Live Graph

Copy the text in the Direct Link box (beware there may be more text than you can see so make sure yuo highlight it all)

On here when creating your post click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK.

Hey Rossmor48,

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post.
I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your broadband connection, I have looked into this on our system and cannot see anything that would be causing the issues that you're having and your latest graph seems to show that your connection is okay now. How has it been since you last posted?

Kind Regards,

Steven_L

Hi Steven,

The broadband connection is back to normal now. I am not sure what caused all the issues last week with. Tuesday and Friday being particularly bad but connection been normal for a day and half now.

Thanks  for updating the thread. Fingers crossed the connection stays that way.

Any further issues though just do the same again and holler.
