Intermittent broadband

Hi All,

For the past week broadband speeds have been slow. I powered off router and back on multiple times through-out the week but still same; Did a factory reset but no avail. All cables plugged in and Hub4 has solid white light meaning ok. No issues in the area according to online checks and when did hub test it came back ok. This happens across all household devices

1: Let's get all your modem stats.. Goto to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) but don't log in. Click on "router status", and copy & paste the data from each of the tabs.

2: If you haven't already, please setup a Broadband Quality Monitor and post a link to your live graph. It monitors your connection 24/7 and provides excellent diagnosis of any underlying issues.

The stats look to be okay, but your BQM is horrendous.  Looks like a possible local area fault?

Try checking with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.

Just noticed some pre RS errors; checked the area for faults but came back ok. Not sure what else to do. Aside from have a VM member on here to send someone out to the area

PreRS errors can be safely ignored, as they are corrected by the modem.  If it was PostRS errors, then that would need to be checked.

FAO VM staff...

I'm still having drop outs, came home from work and no Internet at all. Devices both ethernet and wireless down and gateway couldn't be pinged 

Tried multiple reboots but no success so did a reset and was able to get back on however still intermittent 

Stats look ok but BQM is all over the show. Please can engineer be sent out to WN6 0HQ area as even though Service status returns no faults there is clearly an evident fault in the area
