Intermittent WiFi signal

My WiFi signal keeps dropping intermittently. I have to disconnect then reconnect to the WiFi from my laptop. This happened all day yesterday and is continuing this morning. On a 30 min call this morning, it dropped 3 times. On another 60 min call, it dropped 4 times - this is making work impossible and I am having to tether to my phone and use 4g during important meetings

Hiya,

DO these dropouts affect all WiFi devices at the same time?

What about anything connected to Ethernet?

I had this issue with WiFi just totally disappearing for 2-5 minutes at a time - It looks like it was the wifi router part of the hub 3 that was broken!

Hi. I have noticed that it also affects my phone WiFi. Ethernet connection isn’t an option as the hub is not in my home office. 
my connection can go down for only seconds, but I am getting kicked out of meetings until I manually reconnect to the wifi

Would you be able to post up your router logs?

Go to 192.168.0.1 

Don't log in

CLick 'Router Staus' (underneath the login box)

Navigate through the tabs and copy and paste what is in those into this thread - You may need to post twice as the forum software will reformat the data.

Also it is worth setting up a BQM (Quality monitor) at ThinkBroadband

Very helpful in diagnosing issues - Basically you'd need to know if it is just the WiFi going down or the whole broadband connection

Looking at the PostRS errors - there definitely looks to be noise on the circuit! - This will likely need an engineer visit to diagnose / rectify!

The VM forum staff seem to be pretty good at booking these - so hang tight

Yikes - the log looks like there are some issues that definitely need an engineer!
