Intermittent Connection

Hi Guys,

I'm using the hub 3 in modem mode and it's been working fine for around a year and now suddenly it keeps losing internet connection all the time, sometimes for 30 seconds, sometimes for 10 minutes.

The internal network stays up so I know it's an issue with my virgin connection/hub.

Looking at the network log I'm seeing a lot of the below errors.

 

No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Unicast Ranging Received Abort Response

RCS Partial Service;CM

SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync

 

Is there anything I can do to fix this or does it need an engineer to visit?

It sounds like you have an intermittent issue with your line.

You need to contact VM as it could be a local area issue being worked on, in which case they wouldn't send an engineer.

Try the text service 07533051809.

Hi Carl,

Thanks for replying, this has been going on for a few weeks and nothing has been reported in my local area, on their service checker everything is OK

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

 

Sorry to hear you're having some issues with your hub, I've been able to locate the account using your forum details and can see a couple of the hubs downstream channels are out of specification.

 

I can see it's been over a week since the hub was last rebooted, can you please do this and I'll check the levels again.
