Intermittent Broadband connection with Partial Service DS only

Anyone knows what should I do next?

I am having intermittent wired connection issues for the past 4 weeks.

My HUB disconnects by itself randomly and  I have to reset it or restart the unit to get back online.

I have also come across this on my Virgin profile: Internet(Partial Service (DS only))

Anyone knows whats next? i wrote the Virgin about the intermittent connection issues but I wasnt aware of this Partial Service issue than 😞

Is this a genuine fault or something i can fix?

thank you for taking the time to read this 🙂

Re: Intermittent Broadband connection with Partial Service DS only

Can you post up the two pages of downstream data.

Have you checked for “known network faults”

As well as trying the “check service,” Area status webpage" (link at top right of this forum), also try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues down to postcode level. These may not be listed on the Area Status web page (Areas are not “Geographic” they are billing areas) as that usually only covers faults affecting 1000’s of customers) so phone may give you more info, but even that wont cover problems affecting just a few customers.

Re: Intermittent Broadband connection with Partial Service DS only

Hi @AttilaDaHun,

Thank you for your post and welcome back to our community forums.

I'm very sorry to hear you've had some connection issues recently. Are these ongoing for you today, or have they since been resolved?

If the issues are still present, please check our service status page in the first instance for any known area impacting faults. If an issue we're aware of and working on is reported there then it'll also detail a current estimated fix date/time.

Thanks,
