I have been supplied with a new WiFi pod to replace my old Virgin booster. Instructions for set up of the pod say to remove the old booster - does this include the one which is connected by cable to the hub?

I believe so. I never had the old boosters but the new Pods are WiFi Mesh units so there is no need for that LAN connection
