So got mega volt install today. Broadband is 500meg and working fine. Tv has gone off. Should I be able to get bb if tv is not working? I assume if one doesn’t work then both won’t work.
Engineer said network team need to check a signal in box in street tomorrow as check came back as slightly weak signal.
But bb is spot on. Hub5. Maybe a wire has disconnected. Might have to check

Is yours a new FFTTP installation ?
Have you checked for know TV issues?
Look in 2 places
1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage (https://www.virginmedia.com/help/service-status)
2) Then also Try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.

Sorry to hear about these issues with your TV service following installation with us!
Your TV service requires both a broadband connection, and a coax connection which brings the signal for live TV into your home. It may be that the team identified an issue with the TV signalling which required further investigation with an appointment. (This would also explain why there were no issues with the broadband side of your service.)
