I keep losing connection

Hiya...

I have a connection issue, it happens at approximately 00:30 - 00:45 EVERY night and it takes anything from 5 to 10 minutes to reconnect again...

I have tried disconnecting every item actually connected to my WiFi except 1 and it still does it no matter how many are connected (although it does take longer to reconnect the more gadgets using it)

I have tried calling virgin many times and can never get through (ill be waiting on hold and the line will just cut off or just that I that I can never get through)

Re: I keep losing connection

Call at 08.00 for best chance of getting through quickly although see message 2 here.

VM often does engineering work at those times and it results in short outages whilst they move connections about - but it is usually not long-term in any area. How long has it been going on ? To keep an "official" record of it do this....

If you haven’t already, set up a free and secure “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph” (as per instructions on the TB website) when it starts to develop.
