I have a red light on my hub 3, customer services advised it is normal, diagnostics show no issues, however I want to resolve as wifi strength is frustratingly inconsistent and getting worse. I am looking to invest in a proper router like tp link ax55. But shouldn't really need to.

If the red LED stays on after a reset the Hub needs replaced. This is the overheat warning and if it is not working properly then it is a risk.
It is nothing to do with a poor wifi signal.

Hello Raj-m8
Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue with the hub showing a red light.
I'd like to take a look into this for you and arrange a swap
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check the Logo top right of your screen that would be great.
In the meantime, can you please ensure the hub is well ventilated and away from any direct sources of heat.
Regards
