Hub

When will we get upgraded to Hub 4? My hub 3 range is awful

by most accounts on here, the range on the hub4 isn't much better.

hub4 is only available to people on the gig service or people in heavily congested, gig enabled, areas.. so unless that applies to you then then unfortunately you're stuck with the hub3 for now.

you can improve wifi in other ways though.. you could buy a decent router/mesh system and use the hub in modem mode..

check out the TP-Link deco range, gets a good write-up.

You can also check out ASUS offerings, also well-reviewed.

Think about your requirements.. size of house, how thick the walls are, how many devices you'll have connected, how fast you want the connection to be in various parts of the house etc...

prices start at about £130 and go up to several hundred.. 

tri-band is more expensive than dual-band as it includes a dedicated radio for backhaul.. but as a result, it's generally a little quicker overall than a dual-band system.. do you want the latest wifi6 standard for future-proofing or are you happy with AC?
