Hub not working after power outage

Had a power outage last night and now the hub is showing a solid white line. When you turn it off and back on it remains a solid white line and never flashes to show it is reconnecting to the network.

I have tried to reset the hub but even after more than a minute of pressing in the reset button the solid white line stays and it does not reset.

Time to get a new hub I think?

Posssibly - turn it off for 5' and unplug everything - then fire it up. See if that sorts it

In the meantime check for any “known network faults” that may have affected multiple customers

1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage" (link at top right of this forum)

2) Then also try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues down to street cab/ postcode level.

If nothing shows on there, try calling it in as a fault (free on 150 VM line - or 0345 454 1111 others - national rate) and see what they say when they test your connection.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Thanks have tried most things but no tech support on a Sunday now so will keep trying. Have it all plugged out at the moment and will try turning it back on in about 15 minutes.

Will update the thread if anything changes

Still no change and can't get through to  either of those numbers from my mobile as my landline is a virtual one from Virgin so that's down with the broadband

Was there any solution to this. I am having the same issue after a power outage, sold white light, reboot and reset not having any effect. No support from Virgin media on a Sunday.
