Hub Factory Reset

So we've been having awful broadband for a few weeks now. I've tried everything. Since performing a factory reset, we've not lost out 2G & 5G channels.

Does anyone know how to get these back?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Hub Factory Reset

When you had enough of the hub messing you about get your own wireless router with 1Gb ports with the hub in modem mode.

Re: Hub Factory Reset

Just one of many possibilities, but go into the hub's settings, see if the wifi networks are turned on, and check the network name.  If before the reset you, somebody else, or even a VM employee had renamed the networks (eg to keep the 2.4 and 5 GHz separate), then the reset will have put it all back to the default, and devices won't recognise the network name.  If that theory is right, you can either rename the networks, or just reconnect devices to the network name currently broadcasting.

Re: Hub Factory Reset

Hi.

Its working fine for now. Everytime we have issues, we disconnect the hub, leave it for 10 mins and then start again. It works ok then.

Not ideal but for the timebeing, it works until we find another solution.

Re: Hub Factory Reset

Glad to hear you found a resolution for this, do you try a pin hole reset before unplugging?

Thanks, Emily.
