Hey everyone!
Hoping for some new guidance (if available) with our Hub 4. Everything was working perfectly fine until a fine moment 2 nights ago when it didn’t.
The hub shows a steady white light but we have no wifi. Have done all the regular troubleshooting both mentioned by the virgin media site plus a few additional ones here:
- checking all the connections
- unplug everything and replug
- leaving it disconnected
- a hard reset multiple times -20/30/60/90 seconds of holding the reset button down.
The trouble is that there is no reaction whatsoever from the Hub 4 apart from the white steady ring. It doesn’t even flicker like it typically should if you reset the hub or even restart it. It just goes straight to the white ring (of death?).
Eventually the online troubleshooting asked me to book for an engineer, which I’ve now done. But the engineer is not due for few more days, and working for home is a nightmare with hotspot.
Happy to try any suggestions- but previous messages/threads seem to indicate that the hub is fried.
