Hub 4 upgrade

Dies anyone know how you can get the new hub 4 my.parents have had an email regarding the hub swap to new new hub 4.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Oh right.

You don’t want one then - it’s not an upgrade and is more troublesome than good.

Unfortunately at the moment we aren't able to offer a hub four at the moment for your broadband speed at the moment but we are working on rolling this out across all of our packages.

 

Are you having any issues with your connection at the moment?

That's a shame my mother who is on a lesser package and has just been offered one (hub4) free of charge. Just thought it may be ok as I am a good customer. Oh well I may have to phone up and try and get one.

They’re only offering it to Gig1 customers and customers whose network may have congestion issues as the Hub4 has more channels.

Other than that it’s not worth taking it - and even if you did you should put it into Modem Mode with your own equipment

I’ve been offered it whilst on a 200meg package.

There was no mention of congestion in the email and I’m not aware of any here.

It was billed as a Wi-Fi upgrade (though I use the hub in modem mode).

I know a bit about Wi-Fi, Telecoms, and TV as I used to do it for a living but I'm not perfect so don't beat me up... If you make things you make mistakes!
