Thanks for the reply I’ve split the networks already and changed the security and tried various settings changes and it has improved some things. Unfortunately, this thing really crap. the only issue I had with hub 3 was the fact that our neighbors got a new Sky wifi hub and it was blowing out the hub 3 wifi. I was told that this POS was going to be an improvement but it’s clearly not fit for purpose. ive spent a lot of time getting the hub 3 and my devices completely happy and now 3 of them cannot even connect to the hub 4. I want to smash it up and throw it through someone’s window!!!
taking the cover off the ring doorbell and climbing a ladder again to reset the cameras AGAIN is not what I need to be spending my time on.
<snip> I have installed a few Ubiguiti networks where i have had zero problems with WIFI.
You have answered your own dilemma 🙂 However you will never get an ISP supplied router, to match anything Ubiquiti produce, as the Hub is built to be as cheap as possible for mass installations. I would suggest an AC Pro, strategically placed would give a good result.
