Hub 4 hot on top (just installed)

Jehh

Hub installed yesterday, and noticed it's hot on the top. Can't hear a fan. Concerned that it is a fire risk. Any suggestions?

Does the Hub 4 have Diagnostics that report if the Temperature as Normal or Too Hot ?

Thanks! Have run diagnostics and they have returned 'some problems'. One of the suggestions was to check if the hub is hot.

On a Hub 3 if I scroll down through the Diagnostics results list there is a " Temperature Normal / Too Hot " response.

Customer Support are on 150 or 0345 454 1111 from a non-VM phone.
Report the Hub as overheating, fan not working.

Good Afternoon @Jehh, thanks for your post on our Community Forums, and a very warm welcome to you!

Sorry to hear of the Hub 4 being hot on the top of the router.

Can you please confirm if the light is currently a solid red, or if this is expected solid white light?

Thanks,

David_Bn

It's a solid white light. I'm now on the phone to the helpdesk, so hopefully will get this resolved. Thank you!

Thanks @Jehh.

Do please feel free to keep us updated on how the call goes, and we'll look into this further, if this is required.

Kindest regards,
