Hub 4 failure

I have been with VM for a couple of years now and until recently had no issues, BUT in the last month or so I had a few. I have a Hub 4 broadband router and it kept going off line so you power cycle and then try to log in to the web page 192.168.0.1 to check the configuration....and bam passwork is incorrect, so you try agian, might be a typo but no so you try the default password on the bottom of the box, but no that does not work either so your only option is a reset. so you reset and after 10mins or so your all back up and can login in, change the password and reconfigure your wireless network. Well this started to happen almost on a daily basis, so phone support ( great to speak to so many nice Indian people, shame you can't understand most of them) and on the 4th call I got a new router sent out.

I thorught great all sorted, but no now it will let me login fine but then the page was hanging and hanging never loading so phoned india again to be told there is an issue with VM server and it will sort it self out when they fix it.

as i was online and everything was working i left it. BUT 2 hours later my router goes dark no lights of any colour. So i power cycle, but no difference. seems my new HUB4 has died... I have only had the Bloody thing for about a week. 

Is this a common issue with hub 4 of am i just unlucky they sent me a dud?

Forgot to mention no Hub4 means no tv on the mini hub so not tv in the bedroom, no catch up tv in the lounge.

at least with SKY you only lost one service at a time.....

Thank you so much for your post and I am so sorry to hear that you have faced this issue with your service. 

I have taken a look on our side and I do think there are some issues with the Hub that will require an engineer to take a look.
